Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor, director, producer as well as a teacher at St. Thomas University). Anna Silk is the child of a Briton as well as an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Her appearances in commercials were numerous in her early years. Anna moved to Toronto in November of 1999, to pursue her acting talents. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the following decade.
