Born on November 25 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is energetic Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her notable contribution on American television. Her fame is due to her stellar performances in the American television series Law & Order where she was awe-inspiring for the viewers over three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan as the main character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. The acting skills of Hennessy were on display in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) and The Acting Class. In these films, Shennessy also demonstrated her writing and co-directing talents. Hennessy started her acting career along with her sister as twin call girls in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she appeared at a small stage show on Broadway on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Her next move was to sci-fi, and played Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. Her biggest break came later that year when she was cast in the second season of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Three seasons of her role was a hit with fans. The show ended in 1996. Parker has appeared in films that included RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side, West Wing Angels In America and the Boys on The Side. The actress was awarded an Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award for her work in these television series. Parker is also the recipient of the 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress in the Broadway Play Proof.
